Moon from B-C Terrace

The Pictures Below are From Our First of Three Mandala Projects (Part of the Residential Scholars Program).  The Buddhist Monks live in Simmons during the week of the Mandala Project.  It takes about four days for Monks to "paint" a Mandala, which is made with colored grains of sand.  During the week, a series of lectures and fun events (Kids get to make their own Mandala) punctuate the project.  Up to 7,000 people come each year to participate in the project.
